RBC Tweaks SKF Price Target, Estimates on Strong Manufacturing Backdrop

07:25 AM EDT, 08/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RBC Capital Markets revised its price target and forecasts for SKF (SKF-A.ST, SKF-B.ST), mainly driven by the continued strong manufacturing environment under which the Swedish bearings, seals and lubrication systems company operates. The price target was increased to 270 kronor from 250 kronor on Monday, with an unchanged sector perform rating on the stock. "With the European and US PMIs at elevated levels also for July (as published 3 Aug), we expect SKF's organic growth to slightly accelerate to c.4% yoy in H2 (after +2% org in H1), with support for +4-5% org. growth in 2027. This should allow SKF to pass through cost increases and thus allow for further margin improvement next year. We raise FY2027/28 estimates, but do remain 3-6% below consensus," analysts wrote in a note. "While SKF's Q2 results were only in line, management expects organic growth for Q3." For 2026, the research firm also updated its forecasts, including higher group sales and adjusted EBIT expectations.
