According to the Zhitong Finance App, China Construction Fortis (00138) announced that the Group expects the net comprehensive loss due to unaudited company equity owners in the six months ending June 30, 2026 to be between about HK$120 million to HK$140 million, while the net consolidated loss attributable to unaudited company equity owners in the first half of 2025 is approximately HK$210 million.

The Board considers that the anticipated decrease in unaudited net losses for the period is mainly due to: (i) the reduction in impairment losses of properties classified as holding sale category assets classified as holding sales category assets by approximately HK$73 million in the first half of 2025, to about HK$26 million in the current period; (ii) the reduction in administrative expenses of approximately HK$22 million due to the sale in July 2025 of subsidiaries engaged in landscape design services, retail floral and catering businesses.
