IPO Trends | Starcom Era Plans to Go to Hong Kong IPO to Raise HK$7.8 billion

The Zhitong Finance App learned that, according to reports, quoting people familiar with the matter, Beijing Xingdong Era Technology Co., Ltd. (Robotera) plans to enter Hong Kong for an initial public offering (IPO), which is expected to raise 800 million to 1 billion US dollars (about 6.24 billion to HK$7.8 billion). Relevant discussions are still ongoing, and details such as the scale of fund-raising may change. Robotera has no comment.

According to the official website of Star Dynamics Era, the company was founded in August 2023. It is the only intelligent enterprise owned by Tsinghua University. The founder is Chen Jianyu, a doctoral supervisor and assistant professor at Tsinghua University. In July of last year, Starlight Era announced that it had completed Series A financing of nearly 500 million yuan and had achieved large-scale delivery of products; nine of the top ten technology companies in the world by market capitalization are Star Era customers.

According to reports, in April of this year, the company completed a round of financing of 200 million US dollars led by SF Express Group, and received participation from investors including HSG, IDG Capital, and Gao Lin Investment. The company's products are currently used in the logistics industry and are expanding into the automotive, electronics and service industries.
