Luhua Mountain Anchorage, located in the East China Sea, is an important water area for wind protection, load reduction, waiting for refueling, and semi-diving operations for international sailing ships passing through Shanghai Port. Nowadays, the clean fuel supply function here is becoming more and more mature. In the early morning of August 16, the “Seaport Future” LNG tanker and the “Seaport Zhiyuan” methanol tanker completed fuel filling operations one after another at Luhuashan anchorage. Among them, the “Seaport Zhiyuan” wheel is filled with domestic biomass methanol for the Maltese “Dafei Osmim” wheel; the “Seaport Future” wheel is filled with liquefied natural gas for the Singaporean “Tengcheng” wheel. This double ship recharge continued from August 15 to August 16. This is the first time that Shanghai Port has simultaneously injected two types of green fuel on a large scale to ships sailing internationally at an offshore anchorage, indicating that Shanghai Port's offshore energy filling operations have diversified and large-scale supply capabilities.
