Bank of Gansu (02139) elects Shi Hailong as chairman

Zhitong Finance App News, Bank of Gansu (02139) issued an announcement. Due to job adjustments, Mr. Liu Qing recently submitted his resignation to the board of directors and will resign as the bank's chairman on August 10, 2026.

On August 14, 2026, the bank held a board meeting and passed a resolution to elect Mr. Shi Hailong as the bank's chairman, the chairman of the Strategic Development Committee, and a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The term of office will take effect from the date the Gansu Regulatory Bureau of the China Financial Supervisory Administration approved his qualifications as the bank's director and chairman.

In response to the above work adjustments, Mr. Shi will no longer hold the position of bank governor and chief compliance officer (concurrently) from August 10, 2026.

At the same time, after review and approval by the board of directors, Ms. Hao Jumei, the bank's vice president and secretary of the board of directors, was authorized and appointed to perform duties as governor during the vacancy of the bank. The maximum term of office shall not exceed 6 months from the date of review and approval by the board of directors until the date the bank's new governor takes office.
