At the request of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps Disaster Prevention, Mitigation and Relief Committee, on August 13, the State General Office of Defense and the Ministry of Emergency Management, together with the State Food and Storage Administration, allocated central drought-relief materials such as 110 drought-relief pumps, 60 generators, and 10 drilling rigs to support the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps to do a good job in drought relief and mitigation.
