According to the “Jilin Release,” the research team of Guo Xiaoyang and Liu Xingyuan from the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences collaborated with the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to develop an efficient insulated programmable photovoltaic window with adjustable colors to achieve collaborative control of visible light color, transmission spectrum, and infrared reflection. The result combines wide color gamut color rendering, high color reproduction and excellent thermal management capabilities to provide a multi-functional photovoltaic solution with both aesthetic value and energy efficiency for low-carbon building facades.
