Hill & Smith's H1 Profit Falls; Revenue Up

02:23 AM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Hill & Smith (HILS.L) said Wednesday that its profit for the first half dropped, while revenue rose year over year. Profit attributable to the owners of the parent for the six months ended June 30 was $47.7 million, compared with $61.4 million a year ago. EPS moved to $0.597 from $0.755. The construction and infrastructure products company's revenue was $606.7 million, compared with $561.1 million earlier. Meanwhile, the board declared an interim dividend of $0.25 per share for the period, payable on Jan. 8, 2027, to shareholders on record Nov. 27, 2026. It paid $0.234 per share a year ago. For 2026, the company anticipates underlying operating profit to be "modestly" ahead of expectations.
