Affected by the rainfall caused by Typhoon No. 13 “White Dolphin” of this year, the water level at the Hengbaitou Hydrological Station of the Lianhe River in Anhui rose to a warning level at 2:36 on August 11. According to the flood code regulations for major rivers, the current flood number is “Anhui Lihe River Flood No. 1 in 2026.” The Ministry of Water Resources is keeping a close eye on the development of flood conditions in the Luhe River, strengthening monitoring, forecasting and early warning of rain conditions, initiating a level-IV emergency response for flood prevention in Anhui Province in advance, urging local authorities to strengthen water engineering scheduling, implement detailed flood prevention measures, and make every effort to ensure the safety of people's lives. Currently, a working group from the Ministry of Water Resources is assisting and guiding the frontline of typhoon, torrential rain and flood prevention in Anhui Province.
