11:06 AM EDT, 08/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Metzler Capital Markets raised its price target for Henkel (HEN.F) as it took into account the German chemical and consumer goods company's "strong" second-quarter results and larger contribution from mergers and acquisitions. "We update our model following Q2 results, lifting our estimates by LSD%, reflecting higher underlying growth projections across both [Adhesives and Consumer Brands] divisions and M&A," analysts said in a Monday note. "While we appreciate management's ongoing portfolio restructuring and investment into structurally attractive end-markets, we view the stock's current valuation as fully reflecting these gains. With a balanced risk/reward profile, lack of major near-term volume catalysts, and lingering macroeconomic headwinds impacting discretionary spending, we see limited scope for multiple expansion at this juncture." Against this backdrop, the research firm changed the price target to 74 euros from 70 euros, while maintaining the stock's hold rating. Sales and EPS forecasts for 2026 were also increased by 1.6% and 3.1%, respectively, while the projected EBIT was lifted by 1.8%. For 2027 and 2028, the projections for all three metrics were upwardly revised.
