According to popular news, at 22:00 on August 5, Shaanxi Mobile launched 5G cross-network roaming work in the area affected by flood conditions in Zhen'an County, Shangluo City, to provide 5G network roaming access services to other operator customers. This technology is used in emergency scenarios. When the user's operator's network is interrupted, they can connect to other operators' 5G networks without changing cards to enjoy free calls and Internet services. This is the first time in our province that this function has been used in actual communication security during the flood season. The successful launch has verified 5G cross-network roaming cross-enterprise collaborative support capabilities, as well as the operability of all aspects of the start-stop process, business configuration, and monitoring support under actual flood conditions, effectively enhancing the disaster recovery resilience of communication networks throughout the province and building a “lifeline” of communication to protect the safety of people's lives and property and smooth flood control and disaster relief command.
