In order to implement the requirements of the Political Bureau meeting of the CPC Central Committee to stabilize the real estate market, better meet the diverse housing consumption needs of residents, and based on the capital's functional positioning and in line with the current real estate market situation, the Beijing Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources, and the Beijing Housing Provident Fund Management Center jointly issued the “Notice on Further Optimizing and Adjusting the City's Real Estate Policy”, which will take effect on August 8, 2026. The “Notice” includes seven policies and measures in three areas: optimizing housing purchase restriction policies, improving housing grant policies, and increasing support for housing provident funds. According to the relevant provisions of the “Notice”, property owners of self-occupied housing within the administrative area of the city and their spouses who decorate their own homes may apply to withdraw the housing reserve fund and withdraw the amount based on 50% of the value-added tax invoice amount for decoration, with a maximum of no more than 250,000 yuan per house. The same property owner applied for another renovation withdrawal for the same house. It should have been 10 years since the last renovation collection.
