It's been a good week for Raia Drogasil S.A. (BVMF:RADL3) shareholders, because the company has just released its latest second-quarter results, and the shares gained 8.9% to R$20.12. The result was fairly weak overall, with revenues of R$11b being 5.0% less than what the analysts had been modelling. This is an important time for investors, as they can track a company's performance in its report, look at what experts are forecasting for next year, and see if there has been any change to expectations for the business. So we collected the latest post-earnings statutory consensus estimates to see what could be in store for next year.
Following last week's earnings report, Raia Drogasil's twelve analysts are forecasting 2026 revenues to be R$45.3b, approximately in line with the last 12 months. Before this earnings report, the analysts had been forecasting revenues of R$45.7b and earnings per share (EPS) of R$0.85 in 2026. So we can see that while the consensus made no real change to its revenue estimates, it also no longer provides an earnings per share estimate. This suggests that revenues are what the market is focusing on after the latest results.

There's been no real change to the consensus price target of R$25.39, with Raia Drogasil seemingly executing in line with expectations. Fixating on a single price target can be unwise though, since the consensus target is effectively the average of analyst price targets. As a result, some investors like to look at the range of estimates to see if there are any diverging opinions on the company's valuation. There are some variant perceptions on Raia Drogasil, with the most bullish analyst valuing it at R$31.00 and the most bearish at R$18.00 per share. This shows there is still a bit of diversity in estimates, but analysts don't appear to be totally split on the stock as though it might be a success or failure situation.
Another way we can view these estimates is in the context of the bigger picture, such as how the forecasts stack up against past performance, and whether forecasts are more or less bullish relative to other companies in the industry. We would highlight that revenue is expected to reverse, with a forecast 2.0% annualised decline to the end of 2026. That is a notable change from historical growth of 14% over the last five years. By contrast, our data suggests that other companies (with analyst coverage) in the same industry are forecast to see their revenue grow 9.3% annually for the foreseeable future. It's pretty clear that Raia Drogasil's revenues are expected to perform substantially worse than the wider industry.
The clear take away from these updates is that the analysts made no change to their revenue estimates for next year, with the business apparently performing in line with their models. Fortunately, the analysts also reconfirmed their revenue estimates, suggesting that it's tracking in line with expectations. Although our data does suggest that Raia Drogasil's revenue is expected to perform worse than the wider industry. There was no real change to the consensus price target, suggesting that the intrinsic value of the business has not undergone any major changes with the latest estimates.
