Wuzhou Special Paper (605007.SH) released semi-annual results, with net profit of 230 million yuan to mother, an increase of 88.95% over the previous year

During the reporting period, the company achieved revenue of 4.895 billion yuan, an increase of 18.76% over the previous year; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 230 million yuan, an increase of 88.95% year on year; after deducting non-net profit of 226 million yuan, an increase of 96.87% year on year; basic earnings per share were 0.48 yuan.

The core reasons for the increase in performance: First, the industrial wrapping paper production line at the Hubei base was fully put into operation, and production and sales increased sharply year over year, becoming an increase in revenue; second, with the exception of individual types of paper, the profitability of all types of paper improved year on year; third, refined cost control continued to effectively withstand operating pressure brought about by market fluctuations and continuously consolidated the profit base.
