Wynnstay to Boost Fertilizer Blending Capacity in Scotland

04:09 AM EDT, 08/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Wynnstay Group (WYN.L) is expanding its Glasson Fertilisers business in Montrose, Scotland, with a new high-capacity blending plant expected to double production capacity at the site. The agricultural supplies group signed a long-term lease for a larger facility on Barrack Road and placed the principal equipment contract for the new plant. It also agreed to sell its Cobden Street site, with proceeds helping fund the investment. The new facility is expected to be fully commissioned and operational in the first half of 2027. Wynnstay said the project is expected to generate a return on net assets of at least 10%.
