The National Energy Administration recently released the “China Green Fuel Development Report”, showing that the diversified development pattern of China's green fuel industry is gradually taking shape. Green fuel refers to fuels represented by green methanol, green synthetic ammonia, green aviation fuel, biofuel ethanol, biodiesel, and biogas, which meet ecological environment protection requirements and have low carbon emissions throughout the life cycle. By the end of 2025, China had built a total green fuel production capacity of about 8 million tons/year of oil equivalent, and related industries have begun to take shape. Among them, China has built 6 green methanol projects, with a production capacity of about 380,000 tons/year, distributed in Northeast China, East China and South China.
