Yemen's Houthis issued a statement today saying that their armed forces carried out attacks on Saudi Arabia's “large-scale build-up targets” in many parts of Yemen and used multiple ballistic missiles and drones in the operation. The statement said that the purpose of this operation was to crack down on the Saudi military build-up to launch an escalation operation in the area controlled by the Houthis, causing the death and injury of a large number of “pro-Saudi militants”, destroyed many military camps, weapons depots and military equipment, and destroyed a large number of military vehicles. The statement warned Saudi Arabia not to take further military action, “otherwise it will bear the consequences of this,” and at the same time called for Yemeni personnel fighting for Saudi Arabia to withdraw from the relevant military camps. The statement also said that the Houthis are ready to deal with any military escalation and will continue to adhere to the so-called “blockade in response to the blockade” action policy until the blockade on Yemen is lifted.
