05:54 AM EDT, 08/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Mwb Research noted that Siemens Energy's (ENR.F) fiscal third-quarter performance impressed, but the German energy technology company's current valuation "leaves little room for error." "Siemens Energy delivered another impressive quarter with its Q3 FY26 results, supported by strong demand for grids, gas turbines and data-centre-related energy infrastructure. Revenue, profitability, cash generation and order intake all exceeded market expectations, while the record EUR 162bn backlog provides excellent visibility," the research firm said Wednesday. "However, we had already anticipated a very strong quarter, leaving our estimates unchanged. With much of the strength already reflected in market expectations and valuation, we see limited further upside." Year over year, the company's group revenues were up 18.5% on a comparable basis to 11.45 billion euros, while its net income surged to 1.19 billion euros from 697 million euros. Alongside the third-quarter results, management affirmed its fiscal 2026 outlook and now expects its profit margin before special items to land near the top of its 10% to 12% target range. "On a full-year basis, our revenue forecast is already around 3% above consensus and our profit estimate approximately 6% higher. Fundamentals remain strong, driven by robust demand for energy infrastructure, but we see limited incremental upside from here, as current market expectations increasingly appear to assume that this exceptional operating performance can be sustained indefinitely. In our view, however, the super-cycle is unlikely to remain this strong forever, as history has repeatedly shown. As a result, despite constructive near- to mid-term momentum and visible cash returns, we see a less attractive risk/reward at current levels," the note said. Mwb reiterated its sell rating and price target of 100 euros.
