Eurozone Monthly Retail Sales Down 0.3% in June

05:11 AM EDT, 08/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The euro area's retail sales declined 0.3% month over month in June, following a revised 0.4% rise in May, according to Eurostat data published Thursday. Analysts expected a 0.1% increase for the month. On a yearly basis, the eurozone's retail sales were up 0.7%, against the revised 1.9% rise earlier and the expected 1% growth.
