Under the guidance of the Information and Communications Development Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the IMT-2030 Working Group to Promote Satellite-Earth Integration was recently established in Beijing. Many listed companies, such as China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Satellite Communications, ZTE, and Xiaomi, are among them. Together with upstream and downstream enterprises and scientific research institutions in the industrial chain, they are participating in the overall layout of 6G satellite-terrestrial integrated networks and the cultivation of core satellite communication technologies to promote the deep integration of the satellite and earth industry.
