German Monthly Factory Orders Jump 3.1% in June

02:07 AM EDT, 08/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Germany's monthly factory orders gained 3.1% in June, following the revised 0.3% rise in May, according to preliminary data from the country's Federal Statistical Office published Thursday. Analysts expected a 0.5% increase for the month. On a yearly basis, new orders in manufacturing were up 6.5%, against the revised 4.5% growth earlier.
