The first mandatory national standard for cosmetics, “General Requirements for Cosmetics Safety”, organized and drafted by the State Drug Administration, was released today. It will be officially implemented in 2028, and the “Cosmetic Hygiene Standards” issued by China in 1987 will be abolished simultaneously.
