Jibang Consulting: DDR particle growth is slowing down, NAND price rebound momentum is insufficient

The Zhitong Finance App learned that according to the latest storage spot price trend report released by TrendForce Jibang Consulting, the upward trend in DRAM spot prices has weakened since late July, and 4Gb DDR4 and 2GB DDR3 prices have risen slightly with limited trading volume. In terms of NAND flash memory, although the spot price of the 512gbTLC Wafer rose by 4.55% this week, the price rebound is still weak due to a lack of strong purchasing demand.

Details are as follows:

DRAM spot market

This week (7/29-8/4), the overall DRAM spot market showed a sideways arrangement pattern. Although 4Gb DDR4 and 2Gb DDR3 particles continued to rise slightly, the increase has slowed since late July. Overall, buyers and sellers have yet to agree on the price, and actual transactions are limited. The price of mainstream particles (such as DDR4 1Gx8 3200MT/s) increased 0.17% this week (from US$42.04 to US$42.11).

NAND spot market

Affected by weak terminal consumer demand, the NAND spot market performance continued to be poor. The main reason is that demand has yet to fully recover, and actual volume is still low. Overall, in the absence of extensive buying follow-up support, the follow-up momentum for this wave of price rebound is still insufficient. This week (updated to 8/3), the spot price of the 512Gb TLC Wafer rose 4.55% to US$20.13 per unit.
