An oil refining company controlled by Saudi Aramco has arranged two more supertankers to transport crude oil from Yanbu to South Korea. The ships can choose to sail through the Strait of Mande or detour Africa. According to shipping charter records, South Korea's S‑Oil has confirmed that the tanker “Maran Aphrodite” will load oil at Yanbu Port in the Red Sea on August 18. The ship can choose to take the Strait of Mander at the 285 World Freight Index point rate or bypass the Cape of Good Hope via the Suez Canal. The shipping fee is US$2.05 million.
