As of July 31, the price of third-grade wheat was 13,500 rubles per ton, down 11.3% since Azov shipping restrictions were imposed on July 10; fourth-grade wheat fell 14.5% to 12,200 rubles per ton. According to SoveCon, some producers were forced to sell at a price of 8,000-9,000 rubles per ton, compared to 14,000-15,000 rubles a few weeks ago; the production break-even point is around 10,000 rubles per ton. In July, wheat exports fell 17%-24% year on year to 1.6 million to 1.8 million tons; barley exports plummeted 82% year on year to only 101,000 tons.
