11:46 AM EDT, 08/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Morgan Stanley Research forecasts Coca-Cola HBC (CCH.L, CCKC.F) will post higher organic sales and volume in the second quarter amid expectations of a neutral impact from trading days in the three-month period. The company is anticipated to see a 6.1% increase in organic sales and a 3.5% volume growth, both in line with the Visible Alpha consensus estimates, the research firm said in an earnings preview note. Coca-Cola HBC is set to release its half-year results on Wednesday. "CCH offers a compelling blend of growth and defensive characteristics. Our [overweight rating] on CCH is underpinned by 1) structural preference for soft drinks over alcohol, 2) a defensive portfolio supported by competitive moat of Coca-Cola Co. partnership, 3) exposure to high-growth markets, and 4) margin recovery opportunity," analysts noted. "Taking this into account, we think the stock should continue to deliver OSG and hard-currency EPS growth ahead of the European Beverages and wider Staples universe in coming years."
