According to the latest disclosure information, Intel is making every effort to promote the construction of a large-scale fab park in Ohio. The goal is to achieve full operation in 2031. In order to speed up the implementation of the project, the company provides employees with high overtime bonuses to advance construction progress. The park covers an area of about 1,000 acres and will produce Intel's “Emmy Era” 18A and 14A process nodes, and plans to achieve large-scale mass production of the 14A process in 2031.

At the same time, Intel's EMIB-T advanced packaging technology has made significant progress. Its cost is about 50% lower than the TSM.US CoWOS solution. Intel expects to provide this packaging service on a large scale in 2027. Currently, the packaging yield of this technology is close to 90%, but the substrate yield is only about 50%, which is a major obstacle to capacity expansion, and related suppliers are focusing on increasing corresponding production capacity and yield.
