Monroe Capital Supports Summit Professional Education’s Acquisition of Kids Bowel & Bladder

Monroe Capital LLC (“Monroe”) announced it acted as sole lead arranger and administrative agent on the funding of a senior credit facility to support the acquisition of Kids Bowel & Bladder (“KBB”) by Summit Professional Education (“Summit”), an existing portfolio company of Avathon Capital.

KBB is the nation's leading continuing education platform for physical and occupational therapists specializing in pediatric bowel and bladder health. KBB offers on-demand and live courses, a growing mini-lecture library, and a formal Certificate in Pediatric Pelvic Health, with continuing education approvals across more than a dozen states. Summit's acquisition brings KBB's full course library and certification program to significantly more clinicians and, through them, more children who need care.

This transaction is representative of Monroe’s ability to provide comprehensive “one-stop” solutions for private equity sponsors seeking debt and equity capital to finance their acquisitions and recapitalizations.
