European Commission OKs H.I.G. Capital Fund's Purchase of Terras Gruppe

06:09 AM EDT, 08/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The European Commission cleared the acquisition of German civil engineering company Terras Gruppe by H.I.G. Europe Middle Market LBO Fund II, a Luxembourg-based fund of US alternative asset manager H.I.G. Capital. The authority said Tuesday that the transaction would not raise competition concerns because the companies are not active in the same or vertically related markets.
