Amiantit Flags Positive Impact from Saudi's Anti-Dumping Duties on Hollow Pipes, Ductile Iron Pipes

04:53 AM EDT, 08/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Amiantit (SASE:2160) flagged higher sales and a general positive impact from the imposition of new anti-dumping duties on hollow pipes and tubes and ductile iron pipes imports from India to Saudi Arabia. The Tadawul-listed pipes company on Tuesday noted "deep thanks and appreciation" after Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Foreign Trade ruled Monday that such products will be subject to duties for five years under certain conditions. Amiantit, which filed the complaint that led to the investigation and decision, noted that its Saudi Arabian Ductile Iron Pipe Manufacturing subsidiary accounts for 85% of the local production of the products.
