China Railway announced that the amount of new contracts signed from April to June 2026 was 667.17 billion yuan, and the cumulative amount of new contracts signed this year was 1005.68 billion yuan, a decrease of 9.3% over the previous year. By business, the highest amount of new contracts signed for engineering construction was 49.09 billion yuan from April to June; resource utilization increased the most year-on-year, reaching 50.8%; and asset management saw the biggest year-on-year decline of 83.2%. By region, the domestic decline was 5.0% year on year, and the overseas decline was 43.5%. Currently, the company has no major projects signed yet to be implemented.
