Zhitong Finance App News, Hewang Pharmaceutical (00013) announced its 2026 interim results, with total revenue of US$278 million, up 0.22% year on year; net income attributable to shareholders of US$16.242 million, a year-on-year decrease of 96.43%; and basic profit per common share of 0.02 US dollars.

Dr. Dan Eldar (Dr Dan Eldar), non-executive chairman of Hewong Pharmaceuticals, said, “Hutchison has a clear strategic focus: to build a globally competitive oncology product portfolio with differentiated innovation as the core. This future blueprint is built on our world-first antibody-targeted conjugate drug (ATTC) innovative payload platform, as well as other emerging macromolecule innovative therapeutics. These technologies present us with diverse opportunities to develop first-in-class (first-in-class) or best-in-class (best-in-class) products, and have the potential to be used in combination with standard treatments or newer drugs, thus becoming a first-line treatment. As these projects advance, multinational cooperation (including some projects currently under negotiation) will provide important industry endorsements and recognition, broaden R&D coverage, and accelerate entry into mainstream international markets. We will continue to invest in building our world-class R&D system, relying on cutting-edge science and technology, and deploying resources in areas where Hewang Pharmaceutical can have a significant impact on the lives of patients around the world, while creating commercial and shareholder value.”

Mr. Zheng Zefeng, Acting CEO and Chief Financial Officer of Hewang Pharmaceuticals, said, “The strong market sales growth of Elliot® and Suteida® in the first half of the year reflects the results of a series of measures taken by our commercial team last year to adapt to the changing regulatory guidelines of the Chinese market to achieve sustainable development, including streamlining the sales team and adopting more targeted marketing strategies to increase productivity. We are accelerating ATTC development and further enhancing early drug discovery by expanding talent and artificial intelligence capabilities. We are also exploring collaboration opportunities with multinational partners to accelerate the global development and commercialization of our most promising projects.”

Dr. Su Weiguo, CEO (currently on vacation) and Chief Scientific Officer of Hewang Pharmaceutical, said, “The National Drug Administration accepted the marketing application for solepinib as a new drug for immune thrombocytopenia and warm-antibody autoimmune hemolytic anemia in the first half of 2026, reflecting its solid clinical data package and laying a solid foundation for its potential regulatory and commercialization success. Solepinib once again confirms the importance of target selectivity and differentiated efficacy and toxicity characteristics of our products. Our ATTC drug candidate also follows the same development philosophy, which aims to accurately deliver our self-developed potent small-molecule targeted payload to tumor cells, while reducing damage to healthy tissue and reducing toxic side effects. Preclinical data shows encouraging tumor reduction results compared to standard treatments and emerging treatments that have recently been marketed or are being developed. Three highly innovative molecules from the two ATTC payload platforms are or are about to launch their first human clinical trial, and more drug candidates will be promoted one after another. We are building a science-driven product pipeline aimed at transforming differentiated biological mechanisms into real clinical benefits.”
