According to the latest statistics, as of the end of June this year, the national average standard of urban subsistence allowances was 840.8 yuan per person per month, the average standard of rural subsistence allowances was 629.1 yuan per person per month, and the average standard of living for urban and rural special hardship cases was 14,290 yuan and 10,869 yuan per person per year, respectively. In the first half of this year, 2.891 million people were given temporary aid across the country. The level of livelihood security in our country has been steadily improving. By the end of June this year, the two allowances for disabled persons had benefited 12.207 million people with disabilities in difficult circumstances and 16.871 thousand people with severe disabilities, respectively. The insurance standards for centralized care of orphans by institutions across the country, orphans in the social diaspora, and factual unsupported children reached 2105.2 yuan, 1634.3 yuan, and 1622.1 yuan per person per month, respectively.
