Seplat Energy Posts H1 Attributable Profit Surge; Revenue Up

02:46 AM EDT, 07/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Seplat Energy (SEPL.L) said Thursday profit and revenue from contracts with customers surged year over year for the first half. Profit attributable to equity holders of the parent for the six months ended June 30 was 219.24 billion Nigerian nairas, compared with 36.60 billion nairas earlier. EPS moved to 365.43 nairas from 62.19 nairas. The London-listed Nigerian energy supplier's revenue from contracts with customers was 2.502 trillion nairas, compared with 2.166 trillion nairas a year ago. Meanwhile, the board declared a dividend of $0.12 per share for the second quarter, up 161% from the prior year. The payout comprises a core dividend of $0.05 per share and a special dividend of $0.07 per share.
