Lloyds Banking Group Logs Higher H1 Profit, Total Income

02:21 AM EDT, 07/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lloyds Banking Group (LLOY.L) said Thursday that its attributable profit and total income increased year over year in the first half. Profit attributable to equity holders for the six months ended June 30 was 3.07 billion pounds sterling, compared with 2.52 billion pounds earlier. EPS moved to 0.048 pound from 0.037 pound. The British banking group's total income was 10.63 billion pounds, compared with 9.39 billion pounds a year ago. Meanwhile, the board declared an interim dividend of 0.0158 pound per share for the period, payable Sept. 15 to shareholders on record Aug. 7. It paid 0.0122 pound per share a year ago. For full-year 2026, the bank affirmed its guidance for underlying net interest income of over 14.9 billion pounds. From 2027 to 2030, the group projected a compound annual growth rate in the mid-single-digit for net income and in the high single-digit for underlying other operating income.
