On July 29, the US solid-state battery company Factorial Energy announced that it has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with the Korean battery manufacturer SK On. The two sides will jointly evaluate the technical feasibility and manufacturing application conditions of Factorial FEST® solid-state battery technology. According to the agreement, the two sides will study whether SK On's existing lithium-ion battery production facilities can support future solid-state battery technology development.
