The Zhitong Finance App learned that Sanhuan Group (06951) rose nearly 5% in the intraday period. As of press release, it had risen 4.29% to HK$92.4, with a turnover of HK$155 million.

According to the news, thanks to the explosion in demand for AI computing power, MLCC, known as the “rice of the electronics industry,” is in high demand, and prices continue to rise. It is worth noting that a few days ago, news about Taiyo Yuden and Samsung Electric raising MLCC was once again circulating in the market. Among them, Samsung Electric increased by as much as 30%. Taiyo Yuden did not disclose the exact increase, but emphasized that supply was tight, and delivery could not be guaranteed even after the price increase.

Everbright Securities believes that as AI computing power infrastructure continues to expand and the utilization rate of high-end production capacity of leading manufacturers remains high, leading manufacturers with server-level product layout, leading customer certification, large-scale delivery capabilities, and price transmission capabilities are expected to be the first to benefit. At the same time, the shift in production capacity towards high-end categories will also tighten the effective supply of other MLCC products.
