The Zhitong Finance App learned that Hang Seng Photonics (01134) rose more than 48% this morning. As of press release, it had risen 30% to HK$0.39, with a turnover of HK$1,324,900.

According to the news, this morning, Hengfa Optics issued an announcement stating that Dingfeng Holdings, the main shareholder, signed a sales agreement on July 24 to transfer a total of about 148 million shares of the company to an independent third party, which is equivalent to about 29.59% of the company's total issued share capital on the date of the announcement. The transaction has been completed, and Dingfeng no longer holds any shares in the company. Also, according to the latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Hu Xing bought 148 million shares of Hengfa Optics common stock on July 24 at an average price of HK$0.35 per share, worth about HK$51.7832 million.

The board of directors stated that it is not expected that this share transfer will have any adverse impact on the business operations of the Group's existing eyewear business, and the related business will continue to be the core business of the Group. Meanwhile, the Board will continue to explore potential opportunities to diversify the Group's business and revenue streams.
