Sterlington Advises TriCo Bancshares Senior Management Team on $2.02 Billion Acquisition by First Hawaiian

Sterlington advised the senior management team of TriCo Bancshares (TriCo), parent company of Tri Counties Bank, on its acquisition by First Hawaiian, Inc., parent company of First Hawaiian Bank, in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $2.02 billion.

The combined company will have approximately $34 billion in total assets and become the 6th largest bank headquartered in the Western United States. Sterlington advised the TriCo senior management team on the transaction and go-forward compensation arrangements.

TriCo Bancshares is a bank holding company headquartered in Chico, California. Its wholly owned subsidiary, Tri Counties Bank, provides services through traditional stand-alone and in-store bank branches and loan production offices in communities throughout California.

Executive Compensation partners Jeremy L. Goldstein and Jake Ebers led the Sterlington team.
