According to the Zhitong Finance App, Asia Pacific Resources (01104) announced that compared with the profit attributable to shareholders of approximately HK$244 million for the year ended June 30, 2025 (financial year 24/ 25), the estimated profit attributable to shareholders for the year ended June 30, 2026 (financial year 25/26) is estimated to be approximately HK$1.3 billion to HK$1.9 billion.

The anticipated increase in profit attributable to shareholders in the financial year 25/26 is mainly due to: (i) the commodity business segment's loss of approximately HK$8 million compared to fiscal year 24/25 and contributed segmental profit in the 25/26 fiscal year; (ii) the increase in segmental profit contributed by the resource investment division in fiscal year 25/26 compared to the partial profit of approximately HK$343 million compared to fiscal year 24/25; (iii) profit from the net effect of the following factors: (i) net impairment loss of the net value of equity expected to be transferred back to the associated company Amount and (ii) the Group is a joint venture The company's performance. In the financial year 24/25, net impairment losses resulting from the equity of the associated companies were approximately HK$107 million and accounted for approximately HK$40.9 million in the profits of the associated companies.
