The controlling shareholder of Dianchi Water (03768) competed for 58 million shares of the company by Kunming Water Group

Zhitong Finance App News, Dianchi Water (03768) announced that the company received the “Notice Letter on the Acquisition of 58 Million Shares of Kunming Dianchi Water Co., Ltd. through Judicial Auction” from Kunming Water Group and the attached “Enforcement Decision of the People's Court of the Sichuan Pilot Free Trade Zone”. According to the notice and enforcement ruling, the court ruled that ownership of the 58 million shares of the company (accounting for about 5.64% of the company's total shares) held by Kunming Dianchi Investment belongs to the buyer, Kunming Water Group. The ownership was transferred to Kunming Water Group from the time of delivery, and ownership was transferred from the time the enforcement ruling was delivered to Kunming Water Group (according to the notice, Kunming Water Group received the enforcement ruling on July 17, 2026).

After the transfer of ownership of the subject matter was completed, the number of company shares held by Kunming Dianchi Investment was reduced to about 389 million shares (accounting for about 37.79% of the company's total shares). It is still the controlling shareholder of the company, and all remaining shares of the company held by it have been pledged/judicially frozen.

According to reports, the Kunming Water Affairs Group holds 100% of its shares by the Kunming Municipal People's Government's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.
