Wu Zhengping, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, explained at the 9th CIIE press briefing held on the 27th that more than 1,200 companies from 99 countries and regions signed up to participate in the exhibition, an increase of more than 100 over the same period last year; the exhibition area exceeded 340,000 square meters, an increase of nearly 10,000 square meters over the same period last year, and completed 95% of the 360,000 square meter target. There are 265 of the world's top 500 companies and leading companies in the industry, an increase of 10 over the same period last year; 169 companies and 30 overseas exhibitors became the 9th “Full Attendance”.
