A new study recently published in the British “Nature” magazine revealed that the star system known as CD-35 2722 may be a three-tier hierarchical system. Astronomers have discovered evidence that a celestial body orbiting a brown dwarf within this system may exist. If finally confirmed, this may be the first time that the astronomical community has detected a “moon-like” object outside the solar system.
