Dutch immunology company Argenx announced on Monday that it will acquire Forte Biosciences to include its experimental autoimmune drug FB102 into its product portfolio. Argenx will complete the acquisition at a cash price of $77 per share, and the deal values the US drug developer at around $2.2 billion. Through this acquisition, ArgenX will receive a first-of-its-kind anti-CD122 antibody, which has shown early potential in treating vitiligo and celiac disease.
