The Zhitong Finance App learned that Weilizhibo-B (09887) once fell by more than 17%. As of press release, it fell 14.89% to HK$53.15, with a turnover of HK$524 million.

According to the news, on July 24, Kunyao Group announced that it plans to take the opportunity to reduce its holdings of Weilizhibo shares by no more than 2,443.22 million shares through centralized bidding and bulk transactions. The estimated transaction amount is approximately $132 million. It is worth noting that this holdings reduction just happened on the eve of the lifting of the ban on Weilizhibo. According to reports, in November 2020, KPC invested 20 million yuan in cash in Weilizhibo and obtained 2.48% of the shares. Up to now, KPC holds 2,4430.22 million common shares of Weilizhibo, with a shareholding ratio of 1.2283%. The stock ban period is 12 months, and the ban will be lifted on July 25, 2026.

In addition, Weilizhibo announced that the company recently received a notice of commitment from Kang Xiaoqiang, co-founder of the Group, Chairman of the Company, Executive Director, CEO and General Manager, regarding the voluntary extension of the ban on its direct holding of approximately 7.875 million H shares. According to China's “Company Law”, Dr. Kang will not submit for sale, pledge, sell, transfer or otherwise dispose of such shares at any time between the date of listing and the expiration of 12 months from the date of listing. The original sales ban ended on July 24, 2026.
