Ministry of Commerce: 14 EU entities added to export control list

The Zhitong Finance App learned that on July 24, the Ministry of Commerce issued a document prohibiting overseas organizations and individuals from transferring or providing dual-use items originating in the People's Republic of China to the 14 entities mentioned above, in order to protect national security and interests and fulfill international obligations such as non-proliferation, and to take the following measures: 1. Export operators are prohibited from exporting dual-use items to the 14 entities mentioned above; in progress Relevant activities carried out shall cease immediately. 2. Where export is really necessary under special circumstances, the export operator shall apply to the Ministry of Commerce. This notice is officially implemented from the date of publication.

Ministry of Commerce Notice No. 30 of 2026 announced the inclusion of 14 EU entities in the export control list

According to the relevant provisions of laws and regulations such as the “Export Control Law of the People's Republic of China” and the “Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Export Control of Dual-Use Items”, it was decided to add 14 EU entities, including the Lafat Group, to the export control list (see annex) and take the following measures in order to protect national security and interests and fulfill international obligations such as non-proliferation.

1. Export operators are prohibited from exporting dual-use items to the above 14 entities, and overseas organizations and individuals are prohibited from transferring or providing dual-use items originating in the People's Republic of China to the 14 entities mentioned above; ongoing related activities shall be stopped immediately.

2. Where export is really necessary under special circumstances, the export operator shall apply to the Ministry of Commerce.

This notice is officially implemented from the date of publication.
