This dialogue is one of the key activities of “APEC Digital Week” 2026. The outline of the “15th Five-Year Plan” proposes to further promote the construction of a digital China and raise the level of digital intelligence development. China will further comprehensively deepen reforms, continue to expand high-level opening-up to the outside world, and use new achievements in Chinese-style modernization to provide new opportunities for the development of the Asia-Pacific region and the world. China attaches great importance to international cooperation in the field of digital and artificial intelligence, and is willing to work with all parties to continue to promote digital and artificial intelligence technology to empower the Asia-Pacific Community and jointly inject new impetus into Asia-Pacific cooperation. Li Lecheng expressed the hope that APEC economies will strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the fields of policy, technology, talents, standards, etc., continuously strengthen their digital intelligence capabilities, and shape new advantages for innovation and development in the Asia-Pacific region. The first is to jointly seize strategic opportunities for technological change and accelerate digital intelligence technology to empower thousands of industries through technology promotion and joint research and development.
