Maritime safety agencies led by the US Navy said that Yemen's Houthis, supported by Iran, have completed relevant preparations to attack ships passing through the southern entrance to the Red Sea. The Joint Maritime Information Center issued a notice to sailors on Tuesday saying, “Sources close to the armed forces said that the Houthis have completed preparations to attack shipping vessels and deployed missiles and drones around the Strait of Mande.”
