The Pakistani military issued a statement on the 22nd saying that the Pakistani security forces have carried out numerous anti-terrorist operations in the southwestern province of Balochistan in the past 48 hours, killing a total of 10 terrorists. The statement said that 7 terrorists were killed during operations in the Sulab region of the province, and security forces killed 3 terrorists and arrested 2 suicide attackers and their assistants during operations in the East Meath region of the province. Security forces also seized a number of weapons, ammunition and improvised explosive devices during the operation.
