This morning, the first domestic quantitative hyperspectral intelligent computing satellite, “Xiguang 2-01 Star”, was successfully launched into orbit with the Gravity-1 Yao4 carrier rocket, and will provide ecological monitoring services for mining areas. This satellite achieved 10-meter spatial resolution and 7-nanometer spectral resolution for the first time in the domestic commercial hyperspectral field in the visible-near-infrared spectrum, greatly improving China's ability to obtain space-borne hyperspectral data. It can obtain high-resolution hyperspectral remote sensing images of up to 1 million square kilometers per day. At the same time, it also combines hyperspectral remote sensing, artificial intelligence, and planetary computing power for the first time.
